Quick update. I’ve moved this newsletter over to Substack.
Not because Kit wasn’t working, but because I’m exploring what might work better for us both.
If we haven’t officially met yet, I’m a full-time academic, a mom, and a creator who builds small, helpful things using AI, Notion, and whatever quiet hours I can get during the week.
For some time, I’ve been writing under the name Dual Drive. That name still resonates with me as I’ve always balanced two big drives: career and creativity. But lately, everything I make, write, and share has naturally started moving toward one clear theme:
The Sidepreneur.
It feels right. Authentic. Aligned. So, I’m bringing my writing here too. Same voice, same real-talk approach.
So, why Substack?
It's simpler. More intuitive. Easier to connect with others. It offers built-in discoverability and feels like a community rather than just a platform. And yes, cheaper. But I’m still testing.
Dual Drive hasn’t gone anywhere. I still own the domain and the newsletter, because going all-in without seeing real proof isn't a strategy, it's pressure. And I'm done creating under pressure.
So here’s where we are. New name. New space. Same honesty. Still figuring things out, but finally feeling more aligned.
If you’re still here, thank you.
And if you’re brand new: welcome to The Sidepreneur.
Let’s build smart, meaningful things together.
Today, I’m also announcing a brand new addition to my newsletter: The Sidepreneur subscriber chat.
This conversation space is exclusively for subscribers, like a group chat or live hangout. I’ll post questions and updates that come my way, and you can jump into the discussion.

Great move Tona, I hope Substack will be up to your expectations! Also thank you for recommending On-Chain Income ⚡ Once my creativity is back I will start writing more again, but its always nice to read fellow creators emails :)
